Project objectives
Currently the fashion industry are reliant on unsustainable plant based fibres, such as cotton. Calyx is exploring the potential of producing plant-based fibres in a vertical farming system, in order to improve the sustainability of the sector. This project will develop a research strategy with NIAB for Calyx.
