General description
The Dry Fractionator can sustainably produce a protein-rich fraction (protein concentrate) and a starch-rich fraction from legume and cereal flours and some other food powders without using any water, chemicals, or other solvents.
Technical description
The state of the art Hosokawa Alpine Dry Fractionator is a used to mill and separate food powders or particles based on their size and density. It is a type of air classifier designed for dry processing applications. The Dry Fractionator utilizes airflow and mechanical forces to separate particles into different fractions.
