Sam Spencer

Sam Spencer is a horticulturalist specialising in regenerative agriculture.

With a 1/3-acre market garden at Selling, he produces annual fruit and vegetables for the local community.

Sam started his business, ME13 Market Garden, in 2023, driven by the desire to grow local ethical affordable produce.

Prior to that, Sam studied production horticulture at Hadlow College continuing his career working on many market gardens, orchards, and vineyards.

Sam had no previous ties to horticulture but was inspired by people he met who shed the light on the importance of knowing where your food comes from.
