About

Phil Harrison is the Chef and Director of Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium in Whitstable, Kent. Phil started his culinary journey at 16 and worked in restaurants for 18 years. In 2016, Phil decided to open Bears Ice Cream Imaginarium in West London. 

From then on it was full on ice cream, well kind of. Opening and managing new Bears locations, events, food & beverage of a new cinema, as well as a pivoting to online delivery during Covid and a production kitchen. Phil has a good understanding of financial information, negotiation contracts, running multi-site and multi-team staff blocks, as well as product development of all food items within Bears. 

After moving his family to the east coast it seemed like a no brainer to move the business too. Now on the garden of England Phil is pushing to make Bears even more sustainable working with local farms and business to create delicious and unique ice cream that will excite and surprise.
